These Terms should be read together with our other legal and customer information pages, including our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy, Delivery Information, and Warranty Policy. Where a specific policy gives more detail about a topic, that policy will also apply.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.

4. Using our website
You must use our website lawfully, responsibly, and only for its intended purpose.
To place an order with Respawn PCs, you must create an account. We do not currently offer guest checkout. When creating an account or placing an order, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and up to date.
You are responsible for keeping your account login details secure. You should not share your login details with anyone else. If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, you should contact us as soon as possible at support@respawnpcs.co.uk.
You must not misuse our website, checkout, account system, product review system, contact forms, support channels, or any other part of our service. This includes, but is not limited to:
placing fake, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading orders;
attempting payment fraud, chargeback abuse, or unauthorised transactions;
posting fake, offensive, unlawful, misleading, or spam reviews;
using bots, scraping tools, automated systems, or similar methods without our written permission;
attempting to hack, disrupt, overload, damage, reverse engineer, or interfere with our website or security;
uploading or sending malware, harmful code, spam, or abusive content;
impersonating another person or using false details.
We may suspend, restrict, or close an account, cancel an order, remove reviews, or block access to our website where we reasonably believe there has been misuse, fraud, security risk, unlawful activity, or a breach of these Terms.
All content on our website, including our name, branding, logos, images, product descriptions, layout, design, text, graphics, and other materials, belongs to Respawn PCs or our licensors unless stated otherwise. You must not copy, reuse, reproduce, edit, sell, or redistribute our website content without our written permission.
We aim to keep our website available and working properly, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We may update, suspend, restrict, or remove parts of the website at any time for maintenance, security, technical, legal, or business reasons.
Products, prices, promotions, availability, specifications, and website content may be updated or changed from time to time. Further details about prices, VAT, promotions, and product information are set out later in these Terms.
5. Product information
We try to make our product pages, specifications, prices, images, upgrade options, and descriptions as clear and accurate as possible.
Product pages may include base specifications, selectable upgrades, optional extras, support packages, software-related services, setup options, overclocking services, and other customisation choices. You should check the full product details carefully before placing an order.
Product images are for illustration and guidance only, unless we clearly state that the image shows the exact Product you will receive. Images may include stock images, AI-assisted images, example builds, previous builds, supplier images, or photos of similar PCs. The final appearance of your PC may vary depending on your selected options, component availability, supplier revisions, cable layout, lighting, RGB settings, case layout, and other build factors.
Where a specific component, brand, model, upgrade, or feature is clearly listed as included in your order, we will aim to supply that item as described. If a listed component becomes unavailable, we may need to discuss a suitable replacement with you. More detail about component availability and substitutions is set out later in these Terms.
Any FPS figures, benchmark results, gaming performance estimates, or performance guidance shown on our website are estimates only. They may be based on third-party tools, such as FPS calculators, supplier information, public benchmarks, or in-house testing where available. Actual performance can vary depending on the game, resolution, graphics settings, drivers, updates, background software, cooling, internet connection, monitor, and other factors. We do not guarantee that a PC will achieve a specific FPS or performance result unless we have expressly confirmed this in writing.
If you need a PC for a specific game, software, monitor resolution, workload, or use case, you should check the product details carefully before ordering. You can also use our Custom PC section or contact us at support@respawnpcs.co.uk so we can help suggest a suitable build based on your requirements.
We may update product information, specifications, prices, promotions, images, and availability from time to time. We may also correct obvious errors or mistakes on our website, including incorrect prices, incorrect specifications, or accidental listing errors.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights. Products must still match their description, be of satisfactory quality, and be fit for purpose where required by law.
6. Built-to-order and custom PCs
Many Products sold by Respawn PCs are custom-built or built to order. This means the PC may be assembled, configured, upgraded, tested, or prepared specifically for your order after payment has been accepted.
When you place an order for a custom-built PC, your selected specification, upgrades, options, and requirements form an important part of the order. These choices can affect the price, compatibility, build process, parts required, build time, and cancellation options.
Once your payment has been accepted, we may begin ordering parts from our suppliers, allocating stock, preparing your build, and arranging the work needed to complete your order. Once parts have been ordered, allocated, or build work has started, your ability to cancel or change the order may be limited. More detail about cancellations, returns, and refunds is set out later in these Terms and in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
For custom PC requests made through our Custom PC section, email, contact form, or another approved contact method, we may use the information you provide to suggest or prepare a PC specification based on your needs. This may include the games you play, your target performance, your budget, your preferred appearance, your monitor resolution, or any other requirements you give us.
We will take reasonable care when preparing and checking your PC specification. If we identify a compatibility issue, stock issue, supplier issue, or build concern, we may contact you before continuing with the order. Where needed, we may suggest a suitable change, alternative component, or updated specification.
After you place an order, you should receive an order confirmation or receipt showing the details of your order. You should check this carefully and contact us as soon as possible if anything appears incorrect.
Our usual estimated build and delivery times for custom-built PCs are around 5 to 7 working days, unless stated otherwise. This is an estimate only and may be affected by stock availability, supplier delays, component availability, testing, courier delays, busy periods, or issues outside our control.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights. If a Product is faulty, not as described, or does not meet the standards required by law, your legal rights will still apply.
7. Component availability and substitutions
Some Products and PC specifications depend on component availability from our suppliers. Components may become unavailable, discontinued, delayed, replaced by a newer revision, or affected by supplier stock changes.
If a component listed in your order becomes unavailable, we will contact you where the change is significant or affects an important part of the build. This includes major parts such as the CPU, GPU, motherboard, case, RAM capacity, storage capacity, power supply, cooler, or any other key component.
Where a replacement is needed, we will aim to offer a suitable equal or better alternative. We will not intentionally downgrade your order without your agreement.
For minor component changes, we may use an equivalent alternative without asking for separate approval, provided the alternative is materially similar and does not reduce the key specification, performance, safety, warranty position, or value of the Product. For example, this may include a different brand of RAM with the same capacity and suitable speed, a similar SSD with the same capacity, or a similar power supply with the same suitable wattage and efficiency rating.
If an equal or better replacement costs more, we may absorb the extra cost where we reasonably can. In some cases, where the replacement is a significant upgrade or outside the original order value, we may contact you to discuss the available options before continuing.
If no suitable replacement is available, we may offer you the option to wait for stock, change the specification, choose an alternative Product, or cancel the affected order for a refund.
Cosmetic details may vary unless a specific part, model, colour, lighting style, cable style, case, fan, RGB feature, or appearance detail is clearly listed as included in your order. This includes cable layout, internal layout, RGB lighting appearance, component appearance, and supplier design revisions.
If a Product or specification cannot be supplied as described, we may remove or delist that Product from our website until the information has been updated.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
8. Customer-selected upgrades and compatibility
Our website may allow you to choose upgrades, optional extras, support packages, software-related services, and other customisation options for your PC.
We will take reasonable care when reviewing and preparing your selected specification. If we believe an upgrade, component, service, or option is incompatible, unsafe, unstable, unavailable, unsuitable, or not recommended for your build, we may contact you to discuss a suitable alternative before continuing.
Some upgrades or customisation choices may affect the price, build time, delivery estimate, cooling requirements, power requirements, noise levels, temperatures, performance, warranty position, or overall suitability of the PC. You should check your selected options carefully before placing an order.
If you ask to change your selected upgrades or specification after placing an order, we will try to help where reasonably possible. However, changes may not be possible once parts have been ordered, allocated, prepared, or build work has started. Any approved changes may affect the price, build time, delivery estimate, or availability of the order.
We may offer software installation or setup services where listed. We will only install software that is legal and properly licensed. Where software requires a licence, activation key, subscription, or account, you must either purchase this from us where available or provide your own valid licence where we agree to install it for you.
Overclocking is not currently offered as a standard service unless clearly listed by Respawn PCs. If we offer an approved overclocking service in the future, the details, limits, and warranty position will be explained before purchase. Any overclocking, voltage changes, BIOS changes, or performance tuning carried out by the customer or a third party may affect stability and may void or limit warranty cover where it causes or contributes to a fault.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
9. Prices, VAT and promotions
All prices shown on our website are displayed in pounds sterling (£/GBP), unless stated otherwise.
We try to make sure all prices, product costs, upgrade costs, delivery costs, and promotional offers are shown clearly before you place an order. The total amount payable should be shown at checkout before you confirm your order.
Prices may change from time to time. A price change will not affect an order that we have already accepted, unless there has been an obvious pricing error.
Delivery options and costs may vary depending on the Product, delivery address, courier availability, and any delivery upgrades available at checkout. Where delivery upgrades are available, they will only be charged if selected or agreed by you.
Respawn PCs is not currently showing a VAT number unless and until we are VAT registered. If we become VAT registered, we will update our website and company details where required. Where VAT applies, pricing information will be shown in line with applicable UK rules.
We may offer discount codes, promotional prices, bundles, limited-time offers, or other promotions from time to time. Promotions may have expiry dates, usage limits, product exclusions, minimum spend requirements, or other conditions. We may change, pause, withdraw, or end a promotion at any time, unless we have already accepted your order using that promotion.
Discount codes and promotions cannot usually be combined unless we clearly say otherwise. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
Optional extras, upgrades, support packages, software services, delivery upgrades, or other add-ons will only be charged where they are selected by you, agreed by you, or clearly included in the Product you are buying.
If we identify an obvious pricing error, listing error, or checkout error, we may contact you to correct the issue. If your order has not yet been accepted, we may reject or cancel the order and refund any payment you have made. We will not knowingly be required to supply a Product at an obviously incorrect price.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
10. Orders and order acceptance
To place an order with Respawn PCs, you must create an account and complete the checkout process on our website. You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.
Before placing an order, you should check that all details are correct, including your selected Product, specification, upgrades, optional extras, delivery details, billing details, contact details, and payment information.
After you place an order, you should receive an order confirmation, receipt, or similar email confirming that we have received your order. This email does not always mean that your order has been fully accepted.
Your order is accepted when we confirm acceptance, begin processing the order, order or allocate parts, or start preparing your build. Once your order has been accepted, a contract is formed between you and Respawn PCs.
We may reject, cancel, or refund an order before acceptance where there is a valid reason to do so. This may include, but is not limited to:
payment failure or suspected payment issue;
failed fraud, security, or verification checks;
incorrect, incomplete, or misleading customer details;
stock or supplier availability issues;
an obvious pricing, specification, listing, or checkout error;
an unavailable Product or component;
an incompatible, unsafe, unstable, or unsuitable build specification;
suspected misuse of our website, checkout, account system, or services;
circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If we cancel an order before acceptance and you have already paid, we will refund the amount paid using the original payment method where possible.
You are responsible for providing accurate delivery, billing, contact, and order information. If you provide the wrong delivery address or incorrect contact details, this may cause delays, failed delivery, extra charges, or the Product being sent to the wrong location. If an order is dispatched to the address you provided, we are not responsible for loss, delay, or extra costs caused by incorrect details supplied by you.
Business customer orders are accepted at our discretion. Where a business customer places an order, some consumer cancellation rights may not apply in the same way. This does not affect any rights that cannot be excluded by law.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
11. Payments
Payment is required in full at checkout before we order parts, allocate stock, begin preparing your build, or start processing your order.
The payment methods available at checkout may include card payments through Stripe, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and any other payment methods we make available from time to time. PayPal is not currently available, but may be added later if we choose to integrate it. Available payment methods may change without notice depending on our checkout settings, payment provider availability, eligibility checks, or business requirements.
The total amount payable should be shown at checkout before you confirm your order. Optional upgrades, support packages, software services, delivery upgrades, future finance options, or other add-ons will only be charged where they are selected by you, agreed by you, or clearly included in the Product you are buying.
You must only use payment methods, cards, accounts, finance products, or payment details that you are authorised to use. We may refuse, cancel, delay, or refund an order if we suspect payment fraud, unauthorised payment use, chargeback abuse, security risk, or any other issue with the payment.
If your payment is declined, reversed, flagged, cancelled, incomplete, or otherwise not received by us, your order may not be processed. We are not responsible for delays caused by failed, delayed, or incomplete payment authorisation.
Where a refund is due, we will usually refund the payment back to the original payment method where possible. Refund times may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, payment provider, finance provider, or payment method.
Some payment methods, including Stripe, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay, card providers, or future finance providers, may be operated by third parties. Their own terms, eligibility rules, checks, fees, repayment terms, buyer protection policies, and privacy notices may also apply. More detail about third-party finance and payment providers is set out in the next section.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
12. Third-party finance and payment providers
Some payment methods available through our website are provided by third-party payment or finance providers. These may include Stripe, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay, card payment providers, and any future finance or payment providers we make available at checkout. PayPal is not currently available, but may be added later.
Respawn PCs is not a lender and does not provide financial advice. We do not control whether you are approved for finance, credit, instalment payments, deferred payment options, buyer protection, payment plans, or any other third-party payment service.
Third-party payment and finance providers may apply their own terms, eligibility checks, affordability checks, credit checks, repayment dates, late payment rules, fees, limits, buyer protection policies, complaint processes, privacy notices, and account requirements. You should read and understand the provider’s terms before choosing that payment method.
Finance, instalment, deferred payment, or buy-now-pay-later options are not guaranteed. Approval is handled by the relevant provider and may depend on their own checks and criteria.
You should only use finance or deferred payment options if you can afford the repayments. Missed or late payments may have consequences under the provider’s terms.
Where you have a question about your finance agreement, repayment schedule, payment account, declined payment, provider account, or buyer protection claim, you may need to contact the relevant provider directly.
Where your issue relates to the Product, order, delivery, fault, damage, warranty, return, or support, you should contact Respawn PCs first at support@respawnpcs.co.uk so we can review the issue and explain the next steps. Depending on the payment method used, the provider’s own process may also apply.
If a refund is due, we will usually process it back through the original payment method where possible. Refund timing may depend on the relevant payment provider, finance provider, bank, card issuer, or payment method. Where you used finance or instalment payments, the provider may apply the refund to your finance balance, repayment plan, or account in line with their own terms.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
13. Build times and delivery
We currently sell and deliver within the United Kingdom only.
For custom-built PCs, our usual estimated build and delivery time is around 5 to 7 working days from order acceptance, unless a different estimate is shown or agreed. This is an estimate only and is not a guaranteed delivery date.
Build and delivery times may be affected by parts availability, supplier delays, courier delays, testing, busy periods, payment checks, address issues, weather, strikes, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may use couriers including Royal Mail, DPD, DHL, UPS, or another suitable delivery provider. The courier used may depend on the Product, delivery address, parcel size, service availability, insurance requirements, and delivery option selected.
Standard delivery may be free where shown at checkout. Paid delivery upgrades may be available on selected Products. Any paid delivery option will only be charged where it is selected by you or clearly included in the order.
You must provide a correct and complete UK delivery address, email address, and phone number when placing your order. If there is a delivery issue, delay, or update, we may contact you by email, phone, or another contact method you provided.
If you provide the wrong delivery address or incorrect contact details, you are responsible for any delay, failed delivery, extra cost, or loss caused by those incorrect details, unless the issue was caused by our error. If an order is dispatched to the address you provided, we are not responsible if it is delivered to that address but the address was incorrect.
Risk in the Product passes to you when the Product is delivered to the delivery address you provided, or when it is collected by you or someone acting on your behalf.
If delivery cannot be completed because you are unavailable, refuse delivery, fail to rearrange delivery, provide incorrect details, or do not collect the parcel where required, we may charge reasonable re-delivery, return, storage, or courier costs where applicable.
You should inspect your delivery as soon as reasonably possible after receiving it. If the parcel appears damaged, opened, mishandled, or tampered with, you should take photos of the packaging and Product and contact us as soon as possible. Where possible, visible courier damage should be reported to us within 24 to 48 hours of delivery so we can raise the issue with the courier quickly.
If your order is delayed beyond the estimated timescale, we will contact you where reasonably possible using the email address or phone number provided with your order. If the delay becomes significant, we will explain the available options.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
14. Cancellations before build starts
If you want to cancel an order, you should contact us as soon as possible at support@respawnpcs.co.uk.
Because many of our PCs are custom-built or built to order, we may begin processing your order, ordering parts, allocating stock, or preparing your build shortly after payment has been accepted. If you contact us quickly and we have not yet ordered parts, allocated stock, customised components, started preparation, or started build work, we may be able to cancel the order and issue a full refund.
A cancellation request is not confirmed until we have replied to you in writing. You should not assume an order has been cancelled until we confirm this.
If parts have already been ordered, stock has been allocated, components have been customised, preparation has started, or build work has started, we may not be able to cancel the order. Where legally allowed, we may refuse the cancellation or deduct reasonable costs already incurred.
The same cancellation process applies to custom PC requests made through our website, Custom PC section, email, contact form, or another approved contact method.
If we agree to cancel an order and a refund is due, we will usually refund the payment back to the original payment method where possible. Refund timing may depend on your bank, card issuer, payment provider, finance provider, or payment method.
Business customer orders may only be cancelled where we agree in writing, unless cancellation rights apply by law or separate written terms have been agreed.
This section covers cancellation requests before the build has started or before parts have been ordered or allocated. Returns, cancellation rights after delivery, faulty goods, damaged goods, and incorrect goods are covered later in these Terms and in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
15. Returns and cancellation rights
This section gives a short summary of returns and cancellation rights. Full details are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
If you want to cancel an order or return a Product, you must contact us first at support@respawnpcs.co.uk. We will review your request and explain the next steps, including whether a return is available and the correct return address. Our registered office is not a returns address unless we confirm this in writing.
For standard, non-custom Products, consumer customers may have the right to cancel their order within the legal cancellation period, provided the Product is returned in line with the law and our Returns & Refunds Policy. Online customers usually have 14 days after receiving goods to tell the seller they want to cancel, then another 14 days to return the goods.
Custom-built PCs, personalised Products, and Products made to your specification may have limited change-of-mind cancellation or return rights once they have been built, customised, or supplied, unless they are faulty or we have agreed otherwise. This does not remove your rights if a Product is faulty, damaged, incorrect, not as described, or does not meet the standards required by law.
Unauthorised returns may be refused, delayed, or sent back to you where legally allowed. You should not send anything back to us until we have confirmed the return process.
Returned Products should be packaged safely and securely. Where applicable, Products should be returned with all original accessories, manuals, cables, extras, free gifts, and packaging where reasonably possible.
For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the cost of returning the Product unless we agree otherwise or unless the return is due to our error, a fault, damage, incorrect goods, or another issue where we are responsible.
We may reduce your refund where legally allowed if the Product has been handled or used beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it, or if it is returned damaged, incomplete, missing accessories, missing parts, or reduced in value due to your handling.
If a refund is due, we will usually refund the payment back to the original payment method where possible. Refund timing may depend on your bank, card issuer, payment provider, finance provider, or payment method.
Business customer returns are only accepted where we agree in writing, unless the Product is faulty or a return is required by law or separate written terms.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
16. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
If you believe your Product is faulty, damaged, incorrect, not as described, or missing something that should have been included, you must contact us first at support@respawnpcs.co.uk.
Before we can accept a return, repair request, replacement request, or refund request, we may need information from you so we can understand and assess the issue. This may include your order number, photos, videos, a description of the fault, error messages, details of when the issue started, photos of the packaging, and any other information reasonably needed to review the issue.
If your delivery arrives visibly damaged, opened, mishandled, or tampered with, you should take clear photos of the packaging and Product before using it, where possible. You should report visible courier damage to us as soon as possible, ideally within 24 to 48 hours of delivery, so we can raise the issue with the courier quickly. This does not remove your statutory rights.
We may ask to inspect, test, diagnose, or assess the Product before deciding the appropriate next step. Depending on the issue and your legal rights, this may include a repair, replacement, refund, partial refund, technical support, or another suitable remedy.
You should not attempt repairs, unsupported modifications, part changes, BIOS changes, voltage changes, overclocking, third-party repairs, or other changes before contacting us. If you or a third party open, modify, damage, repair, overclock, or alter the Product in a way that causes or contributes to the issue, we may refuse a free repair, replacement, refund, or warranty claim where legally allowed.
Issues caused by customer misuse, accidental damage, neglect, poor maintenance, blocked airflow, heavy dust build-up, unsuitable placement, liquid damage, power issues, malware, corrupted software, customer-installed software, driver conflicts, data loss, unsupported repairs, unauthorised modifications, or customer-applied overclocking may not be treated as faults caused by Respawn PCs.
Software-related issues, malware, corrupted Windows installs, driver conflicts, customer-installed programs, account issues, game issues, or data loss are not usually treated as hardware faults unless they were caused by us or by something we supplied incorrectly.
Where a fault is valid and return shipping is required, we will cover reasonable return postage or courier costs where required by law. We will confirm the return process before anything is sent back to us.
We strongly recommend keeping the original PC packaging where possible, as it can help protect the Product if it needs to be returned safely. However, we understand this may not always be possible.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
17. 12-month limited hardware warranty
Respawn PCs provides a 12-month limited hardware warranty on custom-built PCs, starting from the date the order is placed.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser named on the order. It is not transferable if the PC is sold, gifted, or passed on to another person after purchase.
The warranty covers parts and labour for valid hardware faults with components supplied or installed by Respawn PCs, where the Product has been used under normal consumer conditions and in line with these Terms.
Where a valid warranty claim is accepted, we may repair the Product, replace the faulty part, use an equivalent or better replacement part, provide technical support, or offer another suitable remedy depending on the issue.
If the exact original component is unavailable, discontinued, delayed, or no longer suitable, we may use an equivalent or better replacement part where appropriate.
Manufacturer warranties may also apply to individual components where available. Where possible, we may help handle a manufacturer warranty claim through Respawn PCs. In some cases, we may direct you to the manufacturer or supplier depending on the component, issue, warranty process, or time since purchase.
To make a warranty claim, you must contact us first at support@respawnpcs.co.uk. We may ask for your order number, fault description, photos, videos, error messages, diagnostic information, packaging photos, or other information reasonably needed to assess the issue.
We may need to inspect, test, diagnose, or assess the Product before accepting a warranty claim or deciding the appropriate remedy.
This warranty does not cover issues caused by:
accidental damage;
misuse, neglect, or abuse;
liquid damage;
fire, smoke, or heat damage;
electrical surges, unstable power, or unsuitable power supply;
poor maintenance, heavy dust build-up, blocked airflow, blocked fans or vents, or unsuitable placement;
overheating caused by poor care, blocked airflow, unsuitable environment, or neglect;
customer modifications, part changes, or upgrades not supplied or installed by Respawn PCs;
unsupported repairs or third-party repairs;
customer-applied overclocking, BIOS changes, voltage changes, or unsupported performance tuning;
malware, corrupted software, corrupted Windows installs, driver conflicts, customer-installed software, account issues, game issues, or other software-related issues;
data loss, deleted files, corrupted files, or loss of settings;
normal wear and tear;
cosmetic damage that does not affect normal use;
external devices, monitors, peripherals, accessories, or third-party products not supplied by Respawn PCs.
Daily use of the PC is expected and does not void the warranty by itself. However, damage or faults caused by poor care, poor cleaning, blocked vents, heavy dust build-up, overheating from neglect, unsuitable placement, or misuse are not covered.
You are responsible for keeping your PC clean, well ventilated, safely positioned, and used in a suitable environment.
You should back up your files, accounts, game saves, documents, photos, settings, and other data before sending a Product to us for inspection, repair, replacement, or warranty work. Warranty work may require testing, drive replacement, Windows reinstall, software reset, or other work that could wipe or affect your data. We are not responsible for data loss unless required by law.
If we inspect a Product and find no fault, or find that the issue was caused by misuse, accidental damage, customer modification, unsupported repair, software, malware, neglect, or another excluded reason, we may reject the warranty claim. Where legally allowed, you may be responsible for reasonable inspection, return shipping, courier, repair, or diagnostic costs.
This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights. Nothing in this warranty or these Terms affects your statutory rights.
18. Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for using your PC safely, sensibly, and in line with normal consumer use.
You should keep your PC in a clean, dry, well-ventilated place. You should not place the PC somewhere that may cause overheating, damage, or unsafe operation. This includes, but is not limited to, placing the PC on thick carpet, inside enclosed cupboards, against radiators, near liquids, in damp areas, in very dusty environments, or anywhere that blocks fans, vents, airflow, or cooling.
You are responsible for reasonable care and maintenance of your PC. This includes keeping vents, fans, filters, and airflow areas reasonably clear of dust and obstruction. Heavy dust build-up, blocked vents, poor airflow, or overheating caused by poor care or unsuitable placement may affect warranty cover.
You should use your PC with a suitable mains socket and safe power setup. You should avoid overloaded extension leads, unsafe adapters, damaged power cables, unstable power sources, or unsuitable power arrangements. We recommend using suitable surge protection where possible.
You should keep your order confirmation, receipt, proof of purchase, and any support emails, as these may be needed for warranty, support, return, or repair requests.
You are responsible for backing up your files, accounts, game saves, documents, photos, software keys, settings, and other data. Repair, diagnostic, warranty, or support work may require testing, drive replacement, software reset, Windows reinstall, or other work that could wipe or affect your data.
You should contact us at support@respawnpcs.co.uk before opening, modifying, repairing, returning, or sending the PC to a third party for repair. Taking the PC apart, replacing parts, attempting repairs, making unsupported modifications, or allowing a third party to work on the PC may affect or void warranty cover where it causes, contributes to, or makes it harder to verify a fault.
Customer-installed parts, upgrades, modifications, repairs, overclocking, BIOS changes, voltage changes, or software changes are carried out at your own risk unless they were supplied, installed, approved, or instructed by Respawn PCs in writing.
When contacting us for support, returns, refunds, repairs, diagnostics, warranty claims, or custom PC advice, you must provide honest, accurate, and complete information. Providing false, misleading, incomplete, or dishonest information may delay support and may affect or void warranty cover where legally allowed.

19. Software, data and operating systems
Respawn PCs may supply PCs with Windows installed, depending on the Product, system compatibility, and selected options. Unless a Windows licence or product key is clearly included or purchased from us, Windows may be installed but not activated.
Where Windows activation, a product key, software licence, subscription, account, or paid software is required, you are responsible for making sure you have a valid licence unless you purchase it directly from us or it is clearly listed as included with your order.
Where a system supports Windows 11, we may install Windows 11. Where a system is not suitable for Windows 11, we may install Windows 10 or another suitable option where agreed or required. We do not guarantee ongoing support from Microsoft or any third-party software provider.
Unless a setup service is clearly included or purchased, we do not provide full software setup, driver setup, game launcher installation, account setup, software optimisation, or update configuration as standard. A Respawn PCs wallpaper may be applied before dispatch.
You are responsible for your own accounts, passwords, Microsoft account, game accounts, launchers, subscriptions, software licences, product keys, cloud saves, backups, and third-party services unless they are expressly supplied or managed by Respawn PCs as part of a paid service.
Software issues are not usually treated as hardware faults. This includes, but is not limited to, malware, viruses, corrupted Windows installs, failed updates, driver conflicts, customer-installed software, game crashes, launcher issues, account issues, corrupted files, deleted files, lost saves, cloud save problems, or third-party software/service problems, unless the issue was caused by Respawn PCs or by something we supplied incorrectly.
We are not responsible for game bans, account bans, lost accounts, lost passwords, lost licences, lost game saves, cloud save issues, or problems caused by third-party platforms, launchers, games, software, or services.
You should back up your files, accounts, game saves, documents, photos, settings, product keys, and other data regularly. You should also back up and, where possible, remove sensitive or personal files before sending a PC to us for inspection, repair, return, warranty work, or support.
Diagnostic, repair, return, warranty, or support work may require testing, drive replacement, Windows reinstall, software reset, factory reset, part replacement, or other work that could wipe, delete, corrupt, or affect your data. We are not responsible for data loss unless required by law.
We will not knowingly install illegal, pirated, cracked, unlicensed, or unauthorised software. If you ask us to install software using a licence or key provided by you, you are responsible for making sure you have the legal right to use it.

20. Limits of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
This means we do not limit or exclude liability for:
death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
faulty goods, goods that are not as described, or goods that do not meet the standards required by law;
any matter where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.
For consumer customers, we are responsible for losses that are a reasonably foreseeable result of us breaching these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. A loss is foreseeable if it is obvious that it may happen, or if both you and Respawn PCs knew it might happen when the order was accepted.
For consumer customers, we are not responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable, or for losses caused by your own misuse, neglect, incorrect information, wrong delivery address, unauthorised repairs, unsupported modifications, customer-installed upgrades, customer-applied overclocking, malware, poor maintenance, blocked airflow, unsuitable placement, third-party software, third-party services, or other issues outside our reasonable control.
For business customers, to the fullest extent allowed by law, we will not be responsible for loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, business interruption, or indirect or consequential loss.
For business customers, to the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any order will be limited to the amount paid by the business customer for the affected Product or order.
Where legally allowed, we are not responsible for lost data, lost files, deleted files, corrupted files, lost accounts, lost passwords, lost game saves, lost cloud saves, software issues, game issues, launcher issues, account bans, third-party platform issues, or third-party service problems, unless caused directly by us and unless liability cannot legally be excluded.
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. This may include supplier delays, courier delays, strikes, extreme weather, power outages, technical failures, payment provider issues, cyber incidents, stock shortages, or other circumstances we could not reasonably prevent.

We collect and use personal information to operate our website, manage customer accounts, process orders, take payments, arrange delivery, provide support, handle returns and warranty claims, improve our services, and meet our legal obligations.
Full details about how we collect, use, store, share, and protect personal information are set out in our Privacy Policy. You should read our Privacy Policy before creating an account, placing an order, or using our website.
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for important website functions, including account login, basket features, checkout, security, preferences, analytics, and website performance. We usually only collect what is needed to run and improve the website, and we do not intend to use unnecessary marketing cookies to track customers across the website unless this is clearly explained and consent is collected where required.
You can manage cookie preferences through our cookie banner or cookie settings where available. Full details about the cookies we use are set out in our Cookie Policy.
We may use trusted third-party services to help operate our website and services. This may include payment providers, finance providers, delivery couriers, email systems, analytics tools, security tools, hosting providers, cookie consent tools, and other service providers needed to run the business.

Nothing in this section replaces our Privacy Policy or Cookie Policy.
22. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
We may make changes for reasons including changes in law, business operations, website features, products, payment providers, finance providers, delivery providers, warranty processes, customer support processes, or how our services work.
The latest version of these Terms will be shown on our website with a “Last updated” date.
Updated Terms will usually apply to future use of our website and future orders only, unless the law requires otherwise. For orders already placed, the Terms in force at the time the order was placed will usually apply to that order.
Where we make a major change that affects existing customers in an important way, we may notify affected customers by email, website notice, account notice, or another reasonable method where appropriate or where required by law.
You should review these Terms before placing each order to make sure you understand the version that applies at that time.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
23. Complaints and customer support
For ordinary help with an order, Product, delivery, return, refund, warranty claim, technical issue, or account issue, you should contact us at support@respawnpcs.co.uk.
To make a formal complaint, email complaints@respawnpcs.co.uk or use the complaints portal available through respawnpcs.co.uk/complaints/. You do not need an order number or website account to complain by email.
When contacting us, you should include as much useful information as possible, including your name, order number, contact details, a clear description of the issue, any relevant photos or videos, and the outcome you are looking for.
Our usual support hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm UK time, excluding bank holidays.
We aim to provide an initial human response to support messages and complaints within 3 to 4 working days, although we will try to respond sooner where possible. Response times may be longer during busy periods, bank holidays, supplier delays, courier investigations, warranty assessments, technical testing, payment-provider checks, or where we need more information from you. Where a complaint investigation needs more time, we will provide an update and a further target date.
We may ask you for additional information, evidence, photos, videos, diagnostics, packaging details, or other details reasonably needed to review your issue. If you do not provide the information needed, this may delay our response or limit what we can do.
Customer-visible complaint updates are recorded in the complaints portal where the complaint is linked to an account and are also sent by email. We may also contact you by phone or another contact method you provided where appropriate.
We ask that you give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve any issue. Some issues may need to be checked with a courier, supplier, manufacturer, payment provider, finance provider, or technical team before we can give a final response.
Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, dishonest, spam, or unreasonable communication may delay support or result in communication being limited to a suitable written channel where legally allowed.
If you are dissatisfied with the Stage 1 response, you may request a Stage 2 review. A different director will review the complaint and how it was handled before we issue our final internal response.
If we cannot resolve a complaint internally, you may have the right to seek independent advice or use an appropriate dispute resolution, regulator, or court process where available. Alternative Dispute Resolution, or ADR, is a way of resolving disputes between consumers and traders without going to court. Our final response will provide relevant external route information where required or applicable.

24. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer customer, you may bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also have the right to bring legal proceedings in your local courts where required by law.
If you are a business customer, any dispute or claim relating to these Terms, our website, or an order will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales, to the fullest extent allowed by law.
