How it works

How your Respawn PC gets built.

Built to order means we start with the way you actually use your PC. Tell us your budget, games, monitor and preferences. We check the spec, build it cleanly, test it properly, then hand it over ready for real use.

  • Spec checked before build
  • Stress tested before handover
  • UK support after delivery

The process

What happens after you choose a PC.

Built to order should be simple to understand. This is the route your order follows from first idea to finished system, without mystery specs or rushed handover.

01

Step 01

Choose a PC or request a custom spec

Start with one of our gaming PCs, or send us your budget, games, monitor and any parts you already have in mind.
  • Budget fit
  • Games and software
  • Target resolution
02

Step 02

We check the parts make sense together

We look at compatibility, airflow, power supply headroom, storage, upgrade path and whether the money is going into the right places.
  • Compatibility
  • Power and cooling
  • Upgrade headroom
03

Step 03

Your PC is built cleanly, not rushed

The system is assembled, cable-managed and checked as a full machine. Built to order means your PC is prepared for your order, not treated like shelf stock.
  • Clean assembly
  • Cable management
  • Internal inspection
04

Step 04

Setup, drivers and stress testing

We check boot behaviour, install core drivers where needed, test stability and look for obvious thermal or hardware issues before it leaves us.
  • Boot check
  • Driver check
  • Thermal/stability test
05

Step 05

Packed for delivery or collection

Once the build has passed checks, it is cleaned, packed carefully and prepared for handover with clear support options if you need help afterwards.
  • Final clean
  • Packed safely
  • Support ready

Built to order means something here

We would rather build the right PC than push the biggest spec.

A gaming PC should be balanced. Overspending on one part while cutting corners somewhere else can create heat, noise, bottlenecks or poor upgrade options. We focus on the whole system.

Request a spec check

Not a random warehouse PC

Your order is not treated like a generic box with a flashy name. The spec, parts and setup are checked against what you actually need.

Advice before the build starts

If a part choice is poor value, unnecessary or likely to limit future upgrades, we would rather explain that early.

No pressure to overbuy

A higher price is not automatically a better PC for your use. The goal is the right machine, not the most expensive basket.

Before it leaves us

The checks customers actually care about.

Clean looks matter, but the important part is whether the PC behaves properly when it is used. These are the checks that keep the build practical.

Compatibility

CPU, motherboard, RAM, GPU, PSU and case clearance checked as one system.

Temps and stability

The PC is tested for obvious heat, fan, boot or stability problems before dispatch.

Cable management

A tidy build improves airflow, makes upgrades easier and keeps the PC looking finished.

Drivers and setup

Core setup checks are handled so the PC is ready for the customer to complete their own account setup.

Visual inspection

Panels, fans, lighting, ports and the inside of the build are checked before packing.

Aftercare

If something does not feel right after delivery, you can contact us instead of being left on your own.

Questions before ordering

Straight answers before you spend money.

These are the questions that matter before buying a built-to-order PC. For anything specific, send us your budget and what you play.

How long does a built-to-order PC usually take?

Most builds are prepared within around 5–7 working days, depending on parts, testing and order volume. If something needs longer, we will not pretend it is ready before it is.

Can I ask for changes before the build starts?

Yes. If you are unsure about storage, RGB, Wi-Fi, case style or performance targets, ask before the build is confirmed so we can spec it properly.

Do I need to know every component?

No. Many customers only know their budget, the games they play and whether they want 1080p, 1440p or 4K. That is enough to start a sensible recommendation.

What happens if I need help after delivery?

Contact support with your order details and a clear description of the issue. We will help work out whether it is setup, software, shipping damage or a hardware problem.

Ready when you are

Tell us what you need. We will help turn it into the right PC.

Start with a current gaming PC, ask for a custom quote, or contact us before ordering if you want the spec checked first.
